Dr. Albert A. Hazzouri Jr., graduated from Scranton Preparatory School 1974, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1978 from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and his Master of Science in Biochemistry in 1980 from the University of Scranton.
Dr. Hazzouri went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984 at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
In order to remain a top cosmetic dentist in Northeast Pennsylvania, Dr. Hazzouri continued learning the very latest techniques at some of the best dental schools in the country.
Dr. Hazzouri is a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Society, and the Scranton Dental Society.
The doctor has also been honored by his peers with memberships in the Periodontal Honor Society, the Endodontology Honor Society, the Oral Surgery Honor Society, and the St. George Oral Cancer Society.
In pursuit of service to his community, Dr. Hazzouri is a board member of the St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, the American Cancer Society, and the Scranton Tomorrow Committee.
The honor Dr. Hazzouri is most proud of is one he shares with his father: the tens of thousands of Northeastern Pennsylvanians who wouldn’t trust their smiles to anyone else.

Dr. Hazzouri’s lifelong friend and longtime classmate, Dr. Louis A. Genello, is a partner at Hazzouri Dental, adding his own skill and experience as an excellent cosmetic dentist to our Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area practice. Dr. Genello and Dr. Hazzouri grew up in the same neighborhood and graduated from Scranton Prep School and the University of Scranton together. They not only work together, but also share the same interests. Their favorite activities include racquetball, skiing, and running. It makes for a great partnership!
Dr. Genello received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton, where he was a member of the Phi Lambda Upsilon Chemical Honor Society.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry, and is certified in dental implant restoration.
Dr. Genello is a member of the Endodontology Honor Society, the Oral Surgery Honor Society, Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dentistry for Children, Pennsylvania Dental Society, Scranton Dental Society, and the American Institute of Implantology.
An avid runner, Dr. Genello is a member of the Scranton Organized Area Runners and has run in 22 marathons, including 3 Boston Marathons.

After completing her undergraduate education in Mumbai, India, Dr. Susan Tina Thomas graduated dental school with a degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from Mumbai University, India in 2003 where she ranked first. After practicing for three years in India, she moved to Houston, Texas where she received a Masters Degree in Public Health at the UTHSC, Houston, Texas. She then graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, New York, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) Degree, receiving honors in esthetic dentistry. She was inducted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) a prestigious dental society honoring the top graduates in the country.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Scranton District Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Prior to joining the family at Hazzouri Dental, Dr. Thomas served as a General Dentist at Gentle Dental Clinic, Springfield and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
