One of our favorite things to do in our office is to give someone a full smile makeover. Patients are often surprised at all we can do to fix their smile. Our services range from simple, same day improvements to complete smile makeovers. Here are some of the procedures we do to totally transform a patient’s smile.

Fixing Damaged or Missing Teeth

Not every tooth forms perfectly and others experience accidental damage. Chipped or cracked teeth, a dead gray tooth, or missing teeth are distracting to an otherwise great smile. Fixing these problems are easy with some of these common procedures:

  • Veneers- porcelain shells that are placed on the front surface of the tooth
  • Crowns- a tooth shaped cap that completely covers a weak or damaged tooth
  • Bonding- durable material that is bonded with adhesive to the tooth to repair decay, chips, or cracks

These procedures are used to cover up any damage that you may have with your teeth. The materials we use are always high quality and colored to an ideal shade. The fit is comfortable and feels natural. Plus, no one will ever know that you have anything on your teeth by looking at you.

If you are missing a tooth, we can replace it. If you are missing multiple teeth in a row, we can do partial denture placements that look like your real teeth. The denture is attached securely to surrounding teeth, so you don’t have to worry about it falling out or becoming displaced.

A dramatic way to make your smile look better is by straightening and centering the teeth. When teeth are aesthetically spaced and lined up, it makes a big difference. The good news is you don’t have to get the bracket style braces. Many advances have been made in orthodontics and we are proud to offer Invisalign clear braces in our office.

Not only will you be able to wear your Invisalign device without anyone noticing, but it is a tight fit that doesn’t interfere with talking or eating. Another big benefit is that you can also remove it whenever you want. This makes social situations less awkward and the wearer less self-conscious. We love it because removing the molds gives you the ability to easily brush and floss your teeth and decreases the chance of staining from brackets.

Teeth Whitening

The last touch up we make to a newly transformed smile is to whiten it up. The most common reason teeth are stained is because people consume food and drink that leave dark residue behind. Some of the offenders include:

  • Smoking
  • Drinking coffee, wine, tea, and soda pop
  • Acidic foods like citrus and berries

Discoloring is also a product of aging. Teeth turn a yellowish color as years pass for some, while turning more gray for others. The procedure we use ensures a bright, beautiful smile no matter what the reason is for discoloration.
